Flygsfors Glass Table Lamps designed by Paul Kedelv, Sweden 1950s.
Exceptional Swedish pair of table lamps made in Sommerso technique. Deep forest green crystal encased in clear crystal with squared base. Marked to the base with manufacturer’s name. E27 bulb. One is a bit different from the other, as they are handmade. Shades not included.
Measures: Base height 45 cm (18 in.)

Paul Kedelv was in the early 1950s the chief designer at Swedish Flygsfors.
Kedelv started working as a student in the drawing studio at Orrefors glassworks in 1931 with supervisors such as Simon Gate and Edward Hald. In 1949–1956, Kedelv was active at Flygsfors glass factory, where he, among other things, designed ‘coquille’ glass and products in sommerso glass . Between 1956 and 1977 he worked at the Reijmyre glass factory. Kedelv has also designed products for the Nybrofabriken in Fröseke and the Fåglavik glass factory.

Flygsfors Glasbruk was a glass factory in Flygsfors in Nybro municipality , founded in 1888 and closed in 1979.
