About
An exceptional, highly decorative pair of table lamps, produced in the 1960s under the famous Swedish brand NK (Nordiska Kompaniet). Glazed porcelain, hand painted with bamboo decor, each equipped with an E27 socket that fit with the US. Eagh lamp foot marked inside with the NK logo. Shades in the images only to illustrate how they look with shade and light. Although available, we recommend to buy locally your desired shades in order to avoid expensive shipping due to the large volume of the shades. Very good used condition, a tiny little chip to one lamp, on the back side and a little damaged ring, still functional (see pictures).
Dimensions without shade:
13 x 13 x 40cm [5.12 x 5.12 x 15.75in.]
Originally sold in NK-bo – a special store in the huge mall of the Nordiska Kompaniet (NK) in Stockholm, which existed between 1947 and 1965. Until the end of the 1960s, NK had great significance for the Swedish art industry and Swedish artisans by exhibiting at their exhibitions, mainly glass, ceramics and textiles as well as their own and others’ furniture and furnishings.
