About
WMF Ikora Table Lamp made of silvered and patinated brass. Design “Congo” table lamp made from a covered jar (model no. 110/216, circa 1929). Designed by Paul Haustein for WMF, Germany. Body of spherical base made of silvered and copper plated brass, etched decoration, wired for two lights. With metal mounting, shade and wooden base. The lamp can be extended, by sliding it out (easy to fit a lampshade). Marked in the wood on the bottom with the WMF Ikora hallmark.

Paul Haustein ( May 17, 1880 in Chemnitz , † September 6, 1944 in Stuttgart ) was a German goldsmith, book designer, artisan, medalist [1] and university teacher.
From 1907 to 1944 he taught there as a professor of metal art, from 1938 to 1940 Haustein was acting director of the Württemberg State School of Applied Arts .
