Ystad Metall Candle Holder, Sweden, 1950s. Gunnar Ander design, metal and copper candlestick. Simple, elegant lines. Standard size (2 cm diameter) candle. In good vintage condition. Some fading to the paint.

Gunnar Ander, born 1908, died 1976, was a Swedish designer. He worked in glass as well as forging, brass, nickel silver and wood.
He designed glass objects at Lindshammar’s glass factory until his death. He was also a long-term employee at Ystad-Metall, where he designed utility and art objects in forged, brass, nickel silver and more. He was also one of the leading designers at Scandia Present AB.
