Ystad–Metall was founded in 1919 in the south of Sweden. It was active until 1969 and was successful with its stylistically pure objects of tin, brass, iron, bronze, and silver. Well-known designers like Ivar Ålenius-Björk, Carl-Einar Borgström and Gunnar Ander all worked for the company.
