Art Deco Satined Press Glass Ball Vase with Horses.

Art Deco glass vase, made in Czechoslovakia, 1920s-1930s at Feigl & Morawetz, Libochovice. Pressed glass vase blown in the mold, satin, with galloping horses designed by Karl Zentner around 1930. Nice brownish patina. Relief mark to the bottom. In excellent condition.

The Libochovice glassworks was founded in 1912 by Josef Feigl and Ladislav Morávek. Designers that worked for Libochovice include also Rudolf Jurnikl, Adolf Matura, and Vaclav Zajíc. In 1965, Libochovice became part of the Sklo Union group.
