Carlo Scarpa Battuto Vase, c. 1940, for Venini, Murano.
Grey transparent glass decorated with a cut “hammered” decoration – battuto, acid etched factory mark: “venini murano ars”

This model was part of a series of glasses created for and presented at the 7th Milan Triennial in 1940. The vase stands 32 cm tall and is in excellent condition.
