Blixt worked a lot with chamotte and often experimented with different types of glazes such as harp fur glaze.
Yngve Blixt also belonged to the group “Keramiker i Höganäs” together with Ann Jansson, Claes Thell, Brita Mellander-Jungermann and Henning Nilsson.

Oskar Yngve Blixt was born in Höganäs on 2 May 1920 and began his career as a rough worker at Höganäsbolaget. After studying with Albin Hamberg, he started his own workshop in Höganäs in 1949.
Yngve Blixt also belonged to the group “Keramiker i Höganäs” together with Ann Jansson, Claes Thell, Brita Mellander-Jungermann and Henning Nilsson. They also had an exhibition hall in Höganäs that they ran together.
