19th century Swedish wood tankard painted with initials and dated 1865.
Wooden Lidded Tankard, made of staves that are held together with split-branch banding. The lids are hinged.
Wonderful piece to add to your collection of Folk Art, early Scandinavian farm primitives. In good condition consistent with its age and quite usable for storage purposes. Signs of time and wear illustrated with pictures.
